My name is Lisa
Shoemake. I am authorized to perform weddings in the state of Arkansas. I
believe that a marriage is not something created by law – it is two
people who love and cherish each other and want to create a life
together. I believe that whether you belong to a church or not, whether
you are religious or not, and no matter what your beliefs, you deserve
to have the wedding that you want – done your way.
I am a
non-denominational, independent wedding officiant serving the state of
Arkansas. More couples than ever are choosing to work with officiants
like me. Why? Because I can help you design the ceremony you want and
avoid the dreaded “cookie cutter ceremony syndrome” so your wedding will
truly be a unique event. It can be large, small, religious, secular,
inter-faith, contemporary, traditional, intimate, fun, fancy, fairy-tale
or frivolous, but it will be the perfect expression of your love.

and that is what I will offer you. I will sit down with you and we will
discuss your vision of your ceremony and how we can make it a reality. I
will help you with ideas for your ceremony, find resources, address
your concerns and make planning your ceremony as stress-free as
possible.
